The range of functions of MyWebsite Now can be expanded with extensions (apps). The apps must first be activated via the Presence Suite so that they are available and configurable in your MyWebsite Now project. This article explains how to do this.

Which extensions are available depends on the MyWebsite Now package. Extensions cannot be added individually, but are an integral part of a product. For product questions, please contact IONOS Customer Support at your convenience.

Calling up MyApps

You call up MyApps via the navigation bar of the Presence Suite. The following selection options are displayed in the detail area after clicking:

  • My Apps:  lists all extensions that you have installed.
  • All apps:  overview of all available extensions.

Selecting and activating extensions

Once you have clicked on the MyApps menu item in the Presence Suite navigation bar, all available extensions are displayed. To obtain further information on individual apps, click on the More details button in the respective tile.

To use an extension for your MyWebsite Now project, click on the Activate button. The functionalities of the extensions are then immediately made available to you in the MyWebsite Now editor.

If further configuration steps are required, e.g. setting up a payment function, these are also made available to you via the extension tile. Please note that the extension must be active for this.

Benefits of the extensions

If an extension is activated, the functionalities are available to you in the MyWebsite Now editor. You insert these like other elements, e.g. images, on your website.

Apps for online shops

The shop solution for MyWebsite Now and MyWebsite Creator have their own integrated extensions (apps). These apps are not managed via Presence Suite. Read the Help Center article "Shop apps" to find out how to activate these apps.
