Manage payment methods
Select Settings > Payment in the menu. An overview of the payment methods of your online store appears. You have the following options for managing the payment methods:
- Change visibility: Select the relevant payment methods in the overview. Then click on Visibility and select whether these payment methods should be visible in your online store. Payment methods that are not visible are marked with the eye symbol in the overview.
Tip: Only make payment methods visible once you have set them up completely. - Delete payment methods: Select the relevant payment methods in the overview. Then click on Delete and confirm the deletion.

Add payment method
- Select Settings > Payment in the menu. All payment methods that have already been added are displayed.
- Select the desired payment method from the selection list.
- Click on Save.
The payment method has been added with the exclamation mark symbol Complete. Set up the payment method as described below so that it can be selected in your online store.
Set up payment method
Once you have added a payment method, you still need to set it up. To do this, open the payment method settings as follows:
- In the menu, select Settings > Payment.
- In the Payment method column, click on the corresponding payment method.
- Set up the following in the General area:
Identifier: Enter the name under which the payment method should be saved in your MyShop administration. This identifier is not visible in the online store.
Visible: Select whether the payment method should be displayed in your online store. Tip: Only make payment methods visible once you have set them up completely.
Preset: Select whether the payment method should be preset by default during the order process.
Restriction of availability: Here you can enter a minimum or maximum order value. If a customer's order falls below the minimum order value you have specified and/or exceeds the maximum order value, this payment method will not be displayed. For example, you can specify that payment can only be made by invoice up to a certain order value.
Discount or fee: Here you can specify a discount or fee for all payments made using this payment method.
The order is created: Specify whether an order should be created in your MyShop administration before or with the payment. This setting is only available for payment methods that are made via third-party providers such as PayPal or BillSAFE.
Name in store: Enter the name under which the payment method should be displayed in your online store. In the field below, you can also enter a comment about the payment method, e.g. a note if you offer a discount for the payment method. This comment will also be displayed when the order is placed in your online store.
Logo: Upload a logo for the payment method, e.g. the logo of the payment provider. Then specify whether the logo should be displayed during the order process. - Click on Save.
- Add your data in the area Settings for payment methods via third-party providers, e.g. PayPal or BillSAFE. Please note: The Settings section does not exist for all other payment methods.
- Click on Save.
