What are IONOS-Managed SSL Certificates?
If your website is part of a Web Hosting, MyWebsite or Online Store contract, you can protect it with an SSL certificate with just a few clicks. IONOS takes care of the fully automatic installation and regular renewal of the certificate for you. Such SSL certificates are therefore referred to as IONOS-managed SSL certificates.
In contrast, if you are using user-managed SSL certificates you yourself are responsible for installing and renewing the SSL certificate.
