Resending the SSL Certificate Activation Email
Please use the “Print” function at the bottom of the page to create a PDF.
If you use the authentication method email, our partner Sectigo will send a confirmation email to the hostmaster address of the domain (hostmaster@domain.tld) . The certificate request must then be approved via the link contained in the email. If you have not received the activation email, you can have it resent to you.
- Log in to your IONOS account login.
Click Menu > Domain & SSL in the title bar .
The page listing all your domains is displayed.Click on Manage in the Portfolio tile under SSL certificates. The overview of your SSL certificates is then displayed.

- Click on the three dots in the Actions column to the right of the domain whose activation email is to be resent.
- Click on Resend activation email... .

- Confirm you have set up the email address.
- Click on Resend activation email.
