Please use the “Print” function at the bottom of the page to create a PDF.
For Linux VPS, Windows VPS, and migrated Cloud Servers managed in the Cloud Panel
This article explains how to create a public IP address for your VPS or migrated Cloud Server in the Cloud Panel.
- Log in to your IONOS account.
Click Menu > Server & Cloud in the title bar. If you have multiple server contracts, select the appropriate one.
In the navigation bar on the left, click Network > Public IP.
Click Create.
Select a server to which you want to assign the new IP address. If you do not want to assign the IP address, select the Not aassigned option. By doing so, the IP address remains free and can be assigned to a server at a later time.
Optional: To enter a Reverse DNS value, click Show in the Advanced options section. Then enter the desired reverse DNS.
Click Create.
Note
The Reverse DNS function can only be used for IPv4 addresses.
The IP address will now be created.
