Showing the Initial Password for a Cloud Server

For VPS, Cloud Servers, Dedicated Servers and Server Power Deals managed in the Cloud Panel

In this article, we'll show you how to display the password automatically generated for your server after it is created.

Prerequisites

You have created a server with a IONOS image or with an image from the Applications area.
You have not entered your own password when selecting the configuration in the More settings section.
You are in the Infrastructure > Server section of the Cloud Panel.

Please Note

If you defined your own password when creating the Cloud Servers or changed the automatically assigned initial password afterwards, you must reset the password manually.

Select the desired server.
In the Initial Password section, click Show Password.

The password will be displayed.
