Modifying a Protection Plan

For Cloud Backup and ###MyDefender###
You can configure your backups individually in the backup console. It is possible to configure several protection plans for a computer with the Microsoft Windows, Linux and macOS operating systems or for a virtual machine with Microsoft Windows or Linux. In this way, you can also map complex backup routines. To be able to manage the backups, you must install the backup agent on the desired computer or virtual machine. It is then necessary to register the computer or virtual machine in the backup console. When you register a computer or virtual machine in the backup console, a protection plan is automatically set up to create a complete backup.
Note
The backup plan can only be changed after the first data backup.
Change the configuration of a backup plan as follows:
In the navigation bar on the left, click on Administration > Protection plans.
Activate the desired device.
Click on Edit.
To check and change the settings of the protection plan modules, click on the desired, activated module. You can then customise the configuration.
Optional: To activate a module, move the switch to the right. To deactivate a module, move the switch to the left.
Notes
- If the protection plan contains modules that are incompatible with the current workload, these are deactivated. The compatible modules remain activated in the protection plan.
