You will have been notified by email if your products are affected. In the attachment of the email, you will find a PDF file with a list of your contracts and the new prices.

Why is IONOS increasing prices?

Thank you for using IONOS products. We stand for first-class domain, server, hosting and website solutions, combined with outstanding service. At the same time, we continuously invest in pioneering future technologies, such as artificial intelligence, and thus always offer you future-proof solutions.

For years, we have thus been steadily improving the quality of our products and services while at the same time increasing costs. That is why IONOS is introducing a new pricing structure.

What do I have to do?

Nothing. The price adjustment will take place on the date specified in the email. All technical features and individual configurations of your purchased IONOS products remain unaffected.

Will there be any outages of my IONOS products due to the price adjustment?

No. The price adjustment will not affect the accessibility or functionality of your IONOS products.

Will I lose included features or add-ons?

No. All current features and add-ons to your IONOS contracts remain unchanged. In case of any contract changes, the conditions of the new contract apply.

How can I save money at IONOS?

  • Change contract terms: If IONOS contracts are offered with different terms, a longer minimum contract term, such as one year instead of one month, is usually financially more favorable. Details of your contracts can be found in your IONOS account: Contracts & Subscriptions: Contract number > Details.
  • Upgrade your PHP version: With IONOS PHP Extended Support, older PHP versions are protected by specially made (and therefore chargeable) security updates. If you upgrade your PHP to a current version, you will not be charged for any Extended Support.
  • Change your contract: For some situations, a cheaper contract with less features/services may be sufficient for your specific needs. Compare the different contracts to see if another option works better for you.
  • Extend your domain renewal terms: If you extend the registration term of your IONOS domain at IONOS beforethe effective date of the price change, you will benefit from the lower price for the duration selected.

Can I cancel my IONOS contract?

Yes. You can cancel your IONOS contract at any time by going to your IONOS Account > Contracts & Subscriptions > Contract Number.
