Managing customers

Valid for all IONOS partner programs.
The IONOS Partner Portal supports collaboration with your customers by allowing you to request access to an existing IONOS account. This article explains how to do this.
Gain access to your client's IONOS account
If your client is also a customer of IONOS, they can grant you full or partial access to their IONOS account. This gives you access to the customer's products and services. Please note that your customer can withdraw access at any time.
If you already have access to the customer account, you can use the Open IONOS account and Disconnect buttons at IONOS Partner Portal.
To gain access to a customer's IONOS account account:
Log in to the IONOS Partner Portal with your access data.
In the navigation bar on the left, click on Client management > Clients.
Select the tile that represents your customer.
Click on the button Send request.
Enter any of your customer's email addresses as the destination for your access request.
Decide between the request for Full access or Partial access.
Click on Send access request to finalize your request.
Subscribe to customer emails
If a customer has given you full access, you can activate the email copy option. You will then receive a copy of all system emails from this customer, allowing you to react quickly to important events.
You activate the email copy in the detailed view of the respective customer within the IONOS Partner Portal.
Deleting a customer in the IONOS Partner Portal
To delete a client in IONOS Partner Portal:
Log in to the IONOS Partner Portal with your access data.
Click on Client management > Clients in the left-hand navigation.
Select the tile that represents your customer.
Click on Delete Client.
Decide whether you want to keep the customer's projects.
Click on the Delete button to finalize the process. Existing authorizations on the customer's IONOS account will also be revoked.
Note
You can only delete a customer if there are no more open sales projects linked to them.
