Publish Posts on Website and Social Media

You can use posts to inform visitors to your website about current topics. You can publish these posts on social media, e.g. Instagram and Facebook, or on your website. This article explains how to create posts and publish them on a scheduled basis if required.

Create contributions

  • Log in to your IONOS account log in.
  • In the title bar, click onMenu > Online Marketing > Tile List Local: Open.
    Please note: If you are running List Local for the first time, the setup wizard will now start. The following steps assume that you have already completed this setup.
  • Click on Publish in the List Local menu bar.
  • Click on New post for a new publication.
  • Under Publish, select the destinations for your post. Multiple selection is possible.
  • Create a post using the other options and fields on the page.
  • Complete the creation of the post by clicking Submit. The post is displayed in a list in the List Local menu under Publish.

Time-controlled publication of articles

  • Log in to your IONOS Account.
  • In the title bar, click onMenu > Online Marketing > Tile List Local: Open.
    Please note: If you are running List Local for the first time, the setup wizard will now start. The following steps assume that you have already completed this setup.
  • Click on Publish in the List Local menu bar.
  • Create a new post or select an existing post with the Edit button.
  • Under Additional options, edit the date and time for the desired publication date.

Create widget for your website

To publish posts on your website, you must first set up the widget:

  • Log in to your IONOS Account.
  • In the title bar, click onMenu > Online Marketing > Tile List Local: Open.
    Please note: If you are running List Local for the first time, the setup wizard will now start. The following steps assume that you have already completed this setup.
  • Click on Website in the List Local menu bar.
  • Click on Generate in the Website Widget section. This only needs to be done once before the first use. The widget is created and detailed options are displayed.
  • Under Language, select the language for the news widget.
  • Copy the content from News Widget Snippet with Copy.
  • Paste the copied code into the HTML code of your website. If you are using a content management solution, such as WordPress, there are usually separate functions for this.
