Disclaimer: The information provided by IONOS Inc on this Web site is offered only as a general information service to the public. Because each issue or situation is different and unique, each person should seek their own legal advice for that particular situation from competent legal counsel.
If you feel that the content on your website that is alleged in the notice is not in violation of the DMCA, you can send a counter-notice to IONOS at legal@ionos.com. If your response does not meet the requirements set forth below, IONOS cannot accept it as a proper counter-notice, whether IONOS agrees with you or not. Bear in mind, however, that content which is on the Internet may be (and most likely is) copyrighted, even if no attempt is made to protect it. If you purchase the content from a third party ask them to confirm that they have the right to sell or license. Also, if you did not remove the content yourself, IONOS may be forced to block access to your account during the entire notice and takedown period.
In any event, to the extent you are going to contest the infringement claim IONOS recommends that you consult an attorney prior to providing a counternotice.
Please download the fillable DMCA Counter Notice form and fax it to +1 (610) 560-1505 or email it to legal@ionos.com if you'd like to submit a counter-notice.
