    This guide is only applicable to the classic .NET Framework, which has not been further developed since version 4.8. Since November 2020, .NET (without the name Core) serves as a unified successor to .NET Core (an open-source implementation of .NET) and .NET Framework.

    Learn how to change the version of ASP.NET Framework used for your hosting package.

     

    • Log in to your IONOS account.
    • Click Menu > Hosting in the title bar. If you have multiple contracts, select the desired Hosting contract.
    • Click Use Webspace to access Webfiles.
    • Click Launch to launch Webfiles.
    • Click File > .NET Framework.
    • Select the version of .NET you would like to use and then click Apply.

    You are finished. The version change will take effect immediately.
